Breathwork
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is simply consciously affecting your breath. As your facilitator, I will be guiding you to affect your breath in a particular pattern.
I work with Conscious, Connected breath or circular breathing. That means we’ll inhale and exhale without pause in a 3-part breath.
By removing the pause in between the inhale and the exhale, it allows our bodies to increase our oxygen levels, subsequently decreasing carbon dioxide. Our bodies drop into the parasympathetic nervous system, which is our rest, digest and restore state of being. As you relax, you drop into the theta brainwave state and this is where magic can happen.
The theta brainwave state is that beautiful places between a relaxed meditation and an unconscious sleep and it is a state where deep healing can occur. Being in theta allows us the opportunity to access our subconscious mind which is where 95% of our experience and memories are stored. The subconscious mind is where our beliefs and “programming” live and this is why breathwork can be a profound and transformational experience.
Past experiences that we hold that still generate an emotional charge can weigh heavy on the body and can manifest in all kinds of ways from slight tension in the body all the way to illness. When these experiences and memories surface during a breathwork session, it gives you the opportunity to complete the emotion by letting yourself fully experience it in a contained and safe manner. Expression is allowed and encouraged in breathwork. It has the capability, breath by breath, of getting you to the other side of the experience so you may reshape your program, belief, or perspective of the situation. The amount of peace that comes from this process is nothing short of pure magic.
While breathwork is very much “work”, the technique I guide you through is a gentler, body based approach to profound transformation.
The question then becomes, how much are you holding on to and what are you ready to let go? Allow your breath to show you the way.

Virtual breathwork sessions are scheduled for 2.5 hours.
This includes an opening meditation, breath technique demonstration and a technique check, an introduction where I discuss what could possibly arise during your session, a playlist and sound check, around one hour of breathing, post breathwork care instructions, and an open floor to share your experience with the group and an opportunity to ask questions.

Clients have described breathing with me as a calm, grounded and supportive experience. This has allowed them to deeply relax and trust the process with whatever surfaced.
